Living things are reliant on the support of others. Without support, there is limited chance for success. I believe that is why all living things were created in multiples; it is essential to support one another for survival. My family is one of the biggest forms of support I have. I have never had to question whether or not my decisions or actions would be supported. Even the decision of moving halfway across the country for a career was never once met with anything less of hugs and genuine congratulations. Without my family, I believe I would be lost in the world.
It is with this thought, I imagine my difficult situation would be living my life without my family. The realization of not being able to pick up the phone to call my dad for advice or visiting my mom to discuss a life decision, or even escaping reality with a weekend trip with my brother and sister, I would be utterly lost. Support is essential for success, and it is also essential for survival. Without these systems in place, the world would be much different.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing as good as supporting each other in life. Families are the greatest support we can have in life. I don’t know how people without a stable family and home can handle their problems alone. It’s hard to be alone. You are right that without a family, one will be lost. Family is the first learning place of an individual in this world. Starting from childhood until old age, he learns everything from his family. He sees his family members walking and starts trying that. He sees them speaking and he tries to copy them especially if you have older siblings like I did. The elder siblings help a lot to their young ones. Parents guide their children at every step they take in life until they become independent.
The family systems works like a chain. Younger people learn from elders while elders depend on their kids for a lot of things. Family members will always come to your rescue whenever you need them. They always support you in different ways whether it be financial or moral. We can always share our problems with our family and find a better solution for our problems after a discussion with our family. Living without your family can be difficult. I remember when I left my parents after I had my first degree to work outside of town, it was not that easy but good a thing they are always a phone call away
Hi Iniabasi:
ReplyDeleteI couldn't have said your comment any better! Families are the best support. My closest family of support includes my four beautiful grown children. They have been with me through all kinds of struggles that I went through in my life. No matter what, they never once judge me, they always stood by my side, even my mom who has been deceased since October 1, 1994. Your posting about family support is a great message to all who desire the same thing. Thank you so much for sharing. Ne Bless!
Hi Iniabasi
DeleteWhat a beautiful blog. I agree with you that we are created in multiplies to provide support for one another. I feel that no one was placed on this earth to walk alone and manage all that life has to offer all alone. I love how you stated that your family supports your decisions with hugs and genuine congratulations. It is family that means everything to me which is why I struggle at times in helping my significant other understand that my love and connection to my family doesn't make me a person that isn't independent.
Great blog and thank you for sharing
Great post! You used great graphics to say what the words also say. I could not imagine going through difficult times without my family. There is nothing like having the support of your family. I enjoyed reading your post.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. It was nice to see a post that was somewhat similar to mine. Family is my strongest support system. I like how you said support is necessary for success and for survival. I would have to agree with this statement. Very thoughtful.
